Q: Why the system reminds me that the register key is invalid?
The following scenarios are known to produce the invalid register key error:
1. You are using the trial version. You can find out the version status when you visit the user interface of the program. To solve this issue, do not register in a trial version, only full versions require you to register.
2. You still have the previous version. Remove your previous version before installing the new one.
3. The key codes are in Caps, and case-sensitive, or there are spaces in front or at the end of the keycode. Remove the blanks.
Q: The license name and the register key don't match?
There are a few reasons why this happens.
A. Do not apply a registration key to a trial version, because a trial version can not be activated;
B. Before you install the full version, make sure you have uninstalled the old or trial version;
C. Please note that keycode is case sensitive;
D. Check if there's blank place before or after the register key when you type it into the registration field;
E. Check if your computer time is right;

Actually there is no functional difference between the trial version and the full version. The only limitation of trial version is the watermark on the output files. Q: Conversion failed, please contact our technical support?
The following scenario may produce the conversion failure error:
1. If you are using Windows XP, please make sure your have installed the Service Pack 2 for Windows XP, without which the conversion may fail.
2. Anti-virus program stopped conversion. Some anti-virus program may cause conversion failure. Please turn off all anti-virus programs before you start converting, and then turn it on after the conversion finishes.
3. You opened PowerPoint during conversion. Close PowerPoint before start conversion, and do not open PowerPoint before conversion finishes.
4. Out of memory. During conversion, our software may requires a big amount of system memory, please close other programs before conversion, especially if your computer's performance is not good.
5. Some PowerPoint add-ins or video decoder may cause conversion failure. Try to uninstall all your PowerPoint add-ins before conversion. We will do our best to improve compatibility of our program. If you found any add-ins that cause conversion failure, please inform us via e-mail.

Q: How can I remove the watermark from output?
You may evaluate our software with its demo version. It supports all functions of the full version. But, the outputs produced by the demo version are attached with the evaluation-copy watermark on the bottom.
The watermark will be removed when the full version is registered. With the full version, you can get full benefits from the program. After you purchase the full version, you can upgrade your program regularly for free in a given version range. For example the version you bought is 1.xx, you do not need to pay the upgrade fee until reach to version 2.0.
Note: The trial version CANNOT be registered.

Q:I am having trouble inserting and playing QuickTime mov files in PowerPoint, can you help me?
Mov includes many different format, such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, QuickTime, DivX, etc. ffdshow can decode these files (ffdshow is shareware). If your mov file are not these formats, you have to install its related decoder.
If you can play the mov file with Windows Media Player, then the mov file could be inserted and played in Power Point file, because Windows Media Player plays the mov file by invoking the related mov decoder.
How to insert .mov file in PowerPoint?
In Power Point, select Insert|Movies and Sounds|Movie from file from menu, an Open window will appear. In the Files of type field, select All files from the drop-down box. Then the mov file is shown up, highlight it and click OK.
Q: What's the difference between the trial version and registered version?

Usually, this happens when your presentations are from others, or moved from one computer to another. The sound tracks' links contained in your presentation are invalid. Open your presentation with PowerPoint, and start slide show. Probably, you hear no sounds during slide show. To solve this issue, do the following:
- Click Animations > Custom Animation, the Custom Animation pane appears on the right part of the working area.
- Find the slides that contain sound clips, remove them all, and then insert the sound files from your drives again.
Star slide show again, if the sounds are played correctly, close the presentation, and then convert the presentation to DVD again.
If your presentation contains MIDI or flash movie with sounds, you may need to enable "Retain sounds by recording" on Settings screen > Preferences.
Q: One of my powerpoints has several video clips that I muted and I have music instead. After I burn it to DVD it is not muted and I have both the music and the actual video sounds.
There are some issues due to PowerPoint and the program, The solution is adjust volume to the lowest instead of muting it.
Q: What's TV standard? Which standard should I choose?
TV Standard stands for color encoding system of TV broadcasting. For the time being, there are three video modes in the world, PAL/SECAM and NTSC. Each one is not compatible with others. For example, the system used in America & Canada is called "NTSC". Western Europe and Australia use a system called "PAL", and Eastern Europe and France use "SECAM". If the TV standard applied to your movie does not match the one of your TV set, the color will be displayed incorrectly.
If you are not sure which standard is used in your country, just click Select by Country, and pick up your country from the drop down list. The program will choose the proper standard for you.
Q: How to get high-quality display quality on my High-Definition TV?
The screen aspect ratio of a High-Definition TV is usually 16:9, therefore, the screen ratio of a presentation should be set as 16:9 in Microsoft PowerPoint. Also, you need to choose 16:9 as TV screen aspect of DVD output in PPT to DVD Pro to get high-quality display. And, usually the HD-TV's definition is higher than your computer screen, if you need ultra high image quality when playing on HD-TV, you may need highly configured computer, and the processing time could be very long.
Q: Why the burnt DVD disc cannot be played on my DVD machine?
There are two possible conditions may cause the problem.
1. Try to play it on your computer. If the burnt DVD disc can be played on your computer, it probably because your DVD machine does not support the recordable DVD/CD disc.
There are 7 recordable DVD/CD disc available, they are DVD+R9 Dual Layer, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R and CD-RW. The DVD+R9 Dual Layer disc has the biggest capacitance of them all, 8.4GB, while other recordable DVD discs have 4.7 GB. The recordable CD disc has only 700MB. Different DVD machines have different compatibility of the recordable discs. You may refer to the manual of your DVD machine to know which DVD disc it supports. Due to our test, we found that recordable DVD drive also matters. The suggestion is, if you used DVD-/+RW, and it could not be played, change to DVD-/+R; if you used DVD+R/RW, and it could not be played, change to DVD-R/RW, vice versa.
2. If the burnt disc even cannot be played on your computer, it probably because the disc is not been burnt or the burning process is failed. We suggest you to save the created DVD image to hard drive first, and then use a third-party burning program like Nero to burn. To create a DVD image file, do the following:
A. Launch PPT to DVD Pro, select DVD as the output option;
B. Advance to Burn Disc screen, enable "Create DVD image file", specify the output location of the ISO file, and then click Start to convert presentations to DVD image.
C. When conversion finished, launch your burning software. Refer to the help file of the burning ware to burn the ISO file to DVD.
Q: Why some of the converted files are interrupted in a sudden or some slides are just skipped over when playback on Window Media Player?
Please upgrade your Window Media Player to V9.0 (or above) and DirectX to 9.0 (or above).
Q: Why can't I select MPEG as the output format and then choose16:9 as the TV Screen Aspect Ratio? And why the MPEG file produced by the software cannot be burned?
There is no difference between 4:3 or 16:9, you can just drag the window of DVD Playback Software to a suitable size as you like. You can view the converted PPT files on PC or burn them to DVD format and play it on DVD player.
Q: When I play my writable disc on my DVD player, the menu music is playing intermittently. How could I solve it?
The disc you burnt must be DVD which read speed is lower than regular DVD. There is another possibility that the quality of the disk you used isn't good enough.
Q: What Can I do if I fail to burn DVD?
You can follow the instructions below to solve your issue:
In Burn Disk step, place a check on Create ISO Image , then click to specify an output directory in the Output Folder field. After conversion, you will find two folders located in the output directory: VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. Play the VOB files in VIDEO_TS folder onto PowerDVD to see if they work. If so, use Third-party burner to make DVD from the ISO files.
Q: What can I do if my home DVD Player can't recognize the DVD I just burnt?
We recommend you use DVD-R disc which is compatible with more DVD player than the writable disk does.
Also, please note that some models of DVD players of certain brands do not support DVD+RW and DVD-RW, which means all presentations burnt in those kind of disks cannot be played on them.
Q: Can this program keep all the originals of my PPT file, like preset timings, animations, video and audio, all transitions?

Q: What are differences between the Auto Play Mode and the Manual Play Mode?
In DVD Menu step, if you choose "Advance the slide automatically", you will need to type in the transition time between slides in the text box, the transition duration will be made default to all your slides. If you would like to keep the original transition timing of your presentation, set the transition time between slides in your PowerPoint presentation, then the program will use these settings as default.
On the other hand, if you choose "Advance the slide manually ", you will need to advance the slides by yourself, thus, the transition duration settings made in your presentation will be ignored. You can also add the ending page under the manual play mode.
Q: Why the animations in my original PPT file are still when converted?
It may due to the animations inserted in the PPT file are as GIF/TIF/TIFF format which isn't so well supported in this version. Please convert them into some kind of video format, and then see how it goes. Our future version will support all those formats; your patience would be greatly appreciated.
Q: Why the original timings of the PPT file is totally off when converted.
That kind of situation happens very rarely, so it's hard to find out which factor might lead to it. In this case, you must send us the original PPT for further check.
Q: Why the audio file in the original PPT file can't be converted?
We strongly recommend you to upgrade the Window Media Player to V9.0 (or above) and DirectX 9.0 (or above). Our program supports most audio files which you inserted in your PowerPoint file as background music, and the sound of the video files. If you mean some sound effects in PowerPoint file like when word floating in or out, our program doesn't support that kind of sound so far.
Q: When I import PowerPoint slide shows, it alerts me that the PowerPoint file is saved as read only, please make it writable before converting. What is that?
Usually, this happens when the PowerPoint file you have is obtained from others. PowerPoint allows users to save slide show as read only. In this way, you are not allowed to edit the PowerPoint slide show. The only way for you to convert the slide show is ask the author to provide you an editable one.
Q: I find the text of my presentation is blurry on the output, what should I do?
To improve the conversion quality, do one or more of the following:
1. Increase the page size of your presentation.
2. If you have added shadow to text, please remove the shadow, which helps to improve the sharpness.
3. Please do not use text color that is similar to the background color.
4. Please don't combine the text with graphical objects, which also may cause the reduction of text quality after conversion.
Q: Why my AVI video cannot play on a computer?
It is because video decoder, xvid.ax, is not properly installed on the computer. You can find this component under the installation folder of PPT to Video Pro. Please follow the instructions below to install the decoder on your computer.
a. Find the xvid.ax file under installation directory of PPT to Video Pro.
b. Copy and paste the xvid.ax file under this directory: C:\WINDOWS\system32. (Suppose the system is installed on C:\)
